CONECTA FICTION 5 IMAGE

The image of our fifth edition has been created by Spanish artist Iván Larra (Madrid, 1965). On a photographic base, the artist from Madrid has created the face of a female character that looks and challenges the viewer at the same time. The image symbolizes the challenge of the digital transformation that the audiovisual sector is undergoing and that will be the main theme of the fifth edition of the international event. Digitization has been a gradual but unstoppable process for years and has been accelerated by the situation of confinement experienced worldwide. It has burst into the audiovisual world, enabling new service offerings, changing consumption habits, and consequently also modifying business models and the way in which transactions are made.

Throughout his career, Iván Larra has developed a very personal, forceful, and homogeneous graphic work, backed by national and international awards and recognitions and by numerous collective and individual exhibitions. His work can be found in collections and institutions such as the National Library of Spain, the National Chalcography (Spain), Amnesty International, and the Municipal Museum of Contemporary Art of Madrid (Spain) among others. In his work, he uses various techniques and disciplines, from lithography and wood engraving to sculpture with traditional materials such as bronze and stoneware.
