Conecta FICTION Reboot is a new hybrid event that will combine on-site and online activities. Its main objective is still promoting encounters between industry professionals and talent from America and Europe.

This has been the complete programme of activities of Conecta FICTION Reboot for its online dates:

 

MONDAY, JUNE 15

16H00-17h00 · CONECTA ON-AIR SESSION (FREE)

OPENING SESSION – CONECTA FICTION REBOOT

The opening session and welcoming ceremony of the online event of Conecta FICTION Reboot will benefit from the special participation of María Chivite, President of the Government of Navarra, who keeps supporting the event and promoting the audiovisual industry with subsidies and tax deductions available to all professionals. After that, the finalist projects of the three Conecta FICTION calls for projects will be announced: Pitch Copro Series, Pitch Short-Form Series and Pitch Clips. Moreover, the selected projects for the Pitch Fundación SGAE will also be announced.

All the selected projects will be presented in a session with audience in the Baluarte, in September 2020. This session will be streamed live for the online delegates of the event.

Moreover, as an example of success among the projects presented in Conecta FICTION previous editions, there will be a screening a the first images of the seres “Inés of my Soul“, a co-production of TVE, Boomerang Televisión and Chilevisión. In this presentation, there will be a be a brief introduction from the main protagonist actors of the series: Elena Rivera and Eduardo Noriega.

REBOOTING THE INDUSTRY: JUMP THE NEXT CURVE OF SHOOTING

From Pamplona (Navarra), and after the presentation of the finalist projects, the programme of conferences of Conecta FICTION Reboot will begin. In this panel, there will be a discussion about take-off of the first shootings internationally, an analysis of the conditions under which these shootings will be managed, and the types of productions that will be carried out regarding format, budgets and complexity. There will also be an analysis of the shooting and recording opportunities in Spain, which will connect live with France and the United States.

SERIES ON THE MOVE: “RIOT POLICE”

Movistar+ will present its new original series “Riot Police” as part of the virtual edition of Conecta FICTION. This session is free and open to all the accredited delegates and to all non-delegates with an account in the Conecta FICTION website.
