The PITCH COPRO SERIES Editorial Committee for Conecta FICTION Reboot is formed by professional experts and top executives of the audiovisual industry, both from Europe and America. They will review and evaluate the international co-production projects for series received during our call for projects. Of all the submitted projects, they have selected 12 projects that will be presented in a pitching session during the on-site event in September 1-3, 2020, in the Baluarte, Pamplona-Iruña (Navarra, Spain). Estíbaliz Burgaleta has a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the University of Navarra and in Scriptwriting from the ECAM. She has been working as a scriptwriter since 2002, in series such as Velvet, Cable Girls, Ciega a citas, Tiempos de guerra or SMS. He has also published two novels: El ganador se lo lleva todo (edited by Adeshoras), and Loser (winner of the Cepa de Novela Juvenil 2018 award). She is currently the scriptwirting coordinator of Skam España, a series broadcasted by Movistar.

Pilar de las Casas is the vicepresident of the Film and Documentary Channels of AMC Networks International Southern Europe. She is responsible for the acquisitions and programming for the AMC, Hollywood, Sundance TV, Xtrm, Dark, and Somos channels, as well as for Canal Odisea/ Odisseia. Her professional career has always been linked to cable television in Spain and Portugal. She has worked for companies such as Discovery, AXN (Sony Pictures Entertainment) and started her career at the Spanish production company Videomedia.

Charline de Lépine has been an associate producer at Son et Lumière for 16 years and produced many telefilms and series such as Avocats et associés and Spiral. In 2006, she set up the Macondo company, focusing on mini-series. Macondo has successfully produced Les hommes de l’ombre, series on the world of French politics, and Speakerine, mini-series on the world of television on 1962, focused on the emancipation of women. She’s actually developing Pista Negra, a thriller of 6x50 episodes about the ski resorts world.

Christian Gabela is currently the VP of International Co-Productions at Gaumont where he leads the search for international partnerships and original IP in Latin America & Spain, as well as the development and production of current projects, including El Presidente for Amazon Prime Video.

Prior to joining Gaumont, he was the VP and General Manager of Story House Entertainment, a premium content studio division within Univision. There, he oversaw the studio’s overall strategy as well as the development, production, and distribution of its content, which includes the Netflix Originals El Chapo and Tijuana, among others. Prior to this, he held executive roles at Univision’s corporate headquarters in New York, including working in the Office of the CEO. Christian began his career at NBCUniversal’s Telemundo Network and Studios, supporting their programming and original content production operations.

He received his MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, and his BBA from the University of Miami (FL).

María Iregui began her career in the industry in Caracol Television, and has been part of the strategic teams inTelemundo, Viacom and RCN Television. She has spent more than 20 years in the audiovisual world curating content for open television channels in Colombia, the U.S. Hispanic market and cable channels in Latin America, as well as some film projects where open channels are looking for investments.

She has been in charge of programming, marketing, new business, digital, and distribution areas, working on building brands, franchises and content that can connect with the audience.

Alexander Keil is a producer at SquareOne Entertainment, a leading content and distribution engine headquartered in Munich, Germany founded by its CEO Al Munteanu in 2002. The company is active in the development, production, and distribution of award-winning and commercial national and international feature films, and television series.

Previously, Alexander was a producer at Producers at Work and Red Arrow Entertainment Group in Berlin. He also worked at the Los Angeles based premier global talent agencies UTA and Gersh, representing scriptwriters and directors. Alexander graduated from Berlin film school DFFB and completed his degree in business administration at FU Berlin and Universidad Autónoma of Madrid. He is specialized in producing national and international co-productions and is a member of EAVE.

Creator of the Atresmedia series Perdida (in filming). He has written scripts for 7 vidas, Gran reserva, La familia Mata, Con el culo al aire, Ciega a citas, Hispania la leyenda, Allí abajo, Caronte and Vivir sin permiso. Nominated for the Goya’s Award for best adapted screenplay for the feature film Jefe. Award winner at the Austin Festival for the script of Acantilado, by the Navarrese director Helena Taberna. He has taught master classes on scripts at the Pontifical University of Salamanca as well as at the Universities of Carlos III, Francisco de Vitoria, Camilo José Cela, Seville, Nebrija, and Navarra. He was one of the judges for the 2016 and 2017 Sir Peter Ustinov International Scriptwriting Contest and the 2012 and 2013 International Emmy Awards.

He studied finance and international relations at the Universidad Externado (Colombia), with a postgraduate degree in international economics from the University of Basel (Switzerland). Diego worked for 7 years at Accenture as a strategy consultant for the banking sector (offices in Bogotá, Buenos Aires and Madrid). He subsequently worked 3 years for De La Rue in London as part of the executive team of business development, leading projects for emerging markets. Diego is one of the founding partners of Dynamo and he currently works as an executive producer, leading the development and production of premium series. Between 2016 and 2017, Diego supervised the production of Narcos (Netflix series). In 2018, was the main producer of Falco, first Dynamo’s series developed in Mexico for Amazon. He was also Nettflix series Frontera Verde showrunner, based on his original idea. In 2019, his Falco series was awarded with an International Emmy.

Rosana Tomás was born in Barcelona and graduated in Film Production at UCLA. Rosana grew up in Los Angeles and has been a production manager for over 20 years on more than twenty film and television projects produced in recent years. These include Ryan Murphy’s The Politician (2019) for Netflix, Jean-Marc Valée’s award-winning Big Little Lies (2016, HBO), Weeds (2005-2012, Showtime) and Hustle (BBC/AMC). In cinema, she worked in productions such as Logan: Wolverine (2017, Fox), Jumanji (2017, Sony), Mike and Dave need wedding dates (2016, Fox), Spongebob, the Movie (2014, Paramount), and Roland Joffe’s Captivity (2007, Lionsgate). In addition, she has production experience in different parts of the world such as Turkey, Venezuela, Germany, Mexico, Hawaii and Spain.

In 2013, Rosana produced Paula Ortiz’s La Novia (2016), which received 12 Goya nominations, including the nomination for best film. Recently, she founded Everyday Films in Los Angeles, with the objective of developing and producing film and television projects in the United States. Rosana Tomás is a member of the Producers Guild of America (PGA).
